Who should you be following?
Have you signed up for Twitter, but don’t know who to follow? If so, I know how you feel. When I joined Twitter in February, I wasn’t really sure who to follow. I clicked on Find People and searched for my favorite designers, retailers, and magazines. I also searched for the Twitter accounts of some marketing, advertising, and communications bloggers, but I still felt like I was missing out on important conversations.
I recently stumbled across a post that allowed me to feel more confident about those that I was following. Blogger David Mullen developed a Twitter Starter Pack of 50 advertising, PR, and social media professionals that should be followed. I started following them and I must say that Mullen’s Starter Pack has been incredibly valuable.
So I decided to make a Twitter Starter Pack comprised of 50 Twitter users in the fashion industry to help you get started.

Great list. How do I follow you? I’m a fashion journalist and at @rachel_arthur
Thanks for the shout out. I’m really glad you found the Twitter Starter Pack valuable. I wanted to highlight quite a few people flying under the radar in addition to the A-listers I think are worthy of still following.
Great idea to create a Fashion Twitter Starter Pack!
So glad you did a post on this! I feel very behind considering I am only follow about 3 of these people..I need to catch up! It is very hard to get into Twitter if you are new to it. Following people and starting to post updates can seem new and usual, but your advice should help newbies get their feet wet. What is the most valuable information you have found from following these people, LeiLani?
Great list! Now if we could only get all of these fashionables to participate more and join conversations. Sigh…
Adding to the comment above – some of these are awesome and it’s cool to see them so supportive of fashion bloggers.
Thx again for the list!
David,
No problem! Thanks for the great idea!
Rachel,

Thanks for the comment!
Jordana,
